Christy joined Jeanan Yasiri Solutions, LLC in 2006. She has lead projects including strategic planning initiatives, business plan development, medical staff recruitment, service contract negotiation and the implementation of care coordination programs for managed care organizations and physician group practices. She is a seasoned community builder with extensive experience in understanding the balance necessary for public/private partnerships and incorporating programs for vulnerable populations into traditional private health care environments. Christy currently serves as the Director of Performance Improvement at St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group in Orange, CA. Christy is responsible for activities including chronic and preventative care outcomes, patient satisfaction, information technology and pay for performance programs. She holds a Masters of Business Administration and a B.A. from Marquette University. Previously, Christy served as the Director of Community Advocacy and Partnerships at Dean Health System in Madison, WI where she developed and managed system-wide programs including uncompensated care, pharmaceutical access, interpreter services, chronic disease management and shared medical appointments. Christy was a leader in bringing qualified Spanish Medical Interpreter services to South and Central Wisconsin. She developed the Medical Interpreter Assessment program that helped Madison's health providers realize national acclaim in addressing the needs of Limited English Proficient patients. Christy served as a lecturer with the University of Wisconsin teaching a Health Care Issues course to undergraduate students. She was the recipient of the 2000 Dane County/City of Madison Public Health Award for Leadership in Multicultural Health Care. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua, C. A. from 1995-1997 educating rural Nicaraguans in topics related to maternal/child health. |
